Avelina was sponsored at Hekima Girls’ Secondary School and continued her studies at Nyamahanga Teachers’ College. Avelina’s father was the first principal at Bushongoro Primary School and passed away suddenly. The teachers and administration are happy that Avelina has returned to her home village to teach in the school. She married a secondary school teacher and they are able to provide for their family and be active in their community.
